So, now its more important to use your targeted keyword in your URL.

6. Use Short URLs

As I already mentioned now URLs in mobile and desktop SERPs are now above the title tag.

So, it’s more important to use Short Url.

For example, “What is Google Adsense And How Google Adsense works?” is optimized around the keyword “Google Adsense”. So I used that keyword in my URL. (https://www.ukb190.com/google-adsense/)

7. Use Your Keyword Once In The First 150 Words

This is an old on-page SEO tactic that still makes a dent.

All you have to do is use your main keyword once in the first 100-150 words of your article.

If you are a WordPress user and are using the Yoast SEO Plugin, you will see that an SEO point is “keyphrase in introduction”:

This is one of the small things that help Google understand what your page is about.

8. Use Your Keyword in H1, H2 or H3 Tags

Google has stated that using an H1 tag “helps Google understand the structure of the page”.  H1 tag Also knows as Title Tag.

The ideal length is 50 – 60 characters. If your title tag exceeds 60 characters, Google will only show the first 60.

Same as H1 Tag, Use your target keyword In your H2, H3 tags.

When you use an image in your article, always define the purpose of that image with the ALT tag, so that the search engine can understand the purpose of that image.

Without the ALT tag the search engine will not be able to understand your image objective, and it will negatively impact your SEO.

External links to related pages help Google to locate the subject of your page. It also shows Google that your page is the center of quality information.

This is one of the best ways to get backlinks, you can ask the owner of the website, you have linked their site, in return you can ask to give a backlink to your site.

11. Use Internal Links

Internal linking is HUGE for SEO.

Specifically, you want to link from high-authority pages on your site to pages that need a boost.
