Step 1:- Install and Activate WPForms Addons

Before we begin, the first step that you need to do is to install and activate the WPForms plugin on your WordPress website.

Once you’ve got WPForms installed, after that you have to need WPForms Plus plan to get access to the Mailchimp addon.

After Obtain the license key,  to get started  just head to WPForms >>Settings from your WordPress dashboard and verify the license key.

Next, activate the Mailchimp addon by visiting the WPForms >>Add-ons page.

Step 2: Create a New Form in WordPress

After the Mailchimp addon is activated, you will need to create a new form. for create a new form,  by going WPForms >> Add a new page.

Give the name your form on the setup screen, and select the newsletter signup form template.

Step 3: Connecting your form to Mailchimp

Now we need to know how to configure the Mailchimp  setting so that we will be able to connect the signup form to our newsletter service. For this, head over to Marketing >> Mailchimp and click on the click Add New Connection.

On the next step, you will need to add your Mailchimp API key to add your account. which you will get to it by signing in to your Mailchimp account.

To see your API key you have to go to your Profile >> Extras >> API Key.

Now, copy and paste your Mailchimp API key into WPForms. and click on Add New Connection button to confirmation.

Once you have connect your API key, then after, configured the following settings:

  • Select your Mailchimp account.
  • Select the email list where you want people to join after subscribing.
  • Click on the that email dropdown or click on any other fields you want to add to your Mailchimp account when subscribe.
  • If conditional logic applies to your Form, then enable it.
  • If you want or it needed then Enable double optin option.

Step 4: Organize your Subscription form notifications

Notifications are a great way, when your form notifications settings is stay ON, you’ll receive a notification when someone submits a form on your website.

You can check the notification by sending yourself an email. Which will be till done automatically by WPForms, unless you will disable the form notifications.

Step 5: Configure your confirmation settings and subscription form

Once , when you have configur your notification settings, then you need to set up your form’s confirmation.

Through confirmations Your site visitors get instant notification that their form has been submitted.

When you will created your Mailchimp subscribe form, then the next step which you need to do that is the connect it to your website. You can add it anywhere on your sites like pages, posts, or sidebar. WPForms allows you to add your forms in several locations.

For this, go to Page >>Add New to create a new page.
